                          Salary has always been a matter of personal privacy,
                          but recently, in order to promote pay equality, an
                          Asian-American female software engineer working
                          in a San Francisco listed technology company not
                          only disclosed her salary, but also hundreds of
                          peers’ salary information collected anonymously. By
                          increasing transparency, she wants to reduce pay
                          inequality. At the same time, according to a survey
                          by an American hiring firm, male employees can
    052                   earn 63% more than female counterparts for the
                          same tech post in the same company, while 54% of
                          female employees in the tech world also pointed out
                          that their income is less than their male counterparts.
