2018 HK Budget: Local IT leaders give a thumbs up

It is really impressive that the government actively fosters innovation and technology development with a budget of over HK$50 billion. We are gratified to see funding being allocated for biotechnology, artificial intelligence, smart city, and financial technologies, which can build a smart future for Hong Kong.
The FS put sufficient emphasis on capital and policy in his Budget Speech. They are two of the four main attributes (talent, capital, policy, and demand) to develop a strong ecosystem for innovation.
