to attract talent

Though the United Kingdom has remained at the top of
global financial market as confirmed by various surveys,
including the Global Financial Centres Index released in

March 2018, it is still working hard to advance further.
One of the initiatives involves setting up a global sandbox
which can attract and converge financial technology 125

(FinTech) professionals.

As early as 2015, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
in the U.K. announced that it would establish a regulatory

3 requirements of a sandbox:

1. Genuinely innovative
2. With identifiable consumer benefits
(e.g. saving transaction fees)
3. Measures of risk management and
consumer protection
