everyday ordinary citizens. Though a really tough task,
the government has continuously engaged these different
stakeholders to ensure that the open data law remains
relevant and is serving the needs of everyone in NYC.

I think the NYC experience is a strong reference for people
in Hong Kong; all parties in society should keep an open
mind, and be willing to share and discuss everyone’s

136 concerns and aspirations with regards to the issue. This is
the best way to move the city forward.
