Education and analytical skills are particularly important.
However, another kind of knowledge of equal importance
that deserves our attention is spatial thinking, which
helps to visualise macro problems such as climate
change, an ageing population, transport planning, and
disparity between the rich and the poor. Combining data
with geospatial information can form a clear view of the
situation, allowing decision-making to be more broad
based and comprehensive. Over the past two decades,
