How does it shape our future life? Imagine that with the

help of robots and driverless technology, everyone has
a personal assistant, they take care of our daily chores
so that the elderly are able to live alone comfortably and
independently. The key to success would be whether the
public and private organisations and the entire community

can work together. It is easier said than done, as private 099
corporations like car parks and bus companies may not
want to open their data, and the public also has privacy

concerns.

Some people advocate that one’s data should be controlled
by themselves, that is, sharing private personal data should
first be agreed by the individuals, like what information can

be shared, and the targets, duration and the conditions of
sharing should be regulated, and there should be a right to
be forgotten. Data should also be uploaded to a blockchain

where the record cannot be tampered with and privacy is
assured by legislation, so as to allay the public’s worries.
