/ Fatal evidence /
Since people wear smart bracelets all the time, these
devices may help reveal the truth in the event of an
accident.
In March 2018, an Australian woman Caroline
Nilsson was charged with murdering her mother-
in-law. The case happened two years ago, when
Caroline’s 57-year-old mother-in-law was found dead
in the laundry room. Caroline originally told the
police that someone had broken into the house at 083
night, and her mother-in-law and the gangster had
struggled, while she was tied in the kitchen and did
not know the situation. It was only by 10 o'clock
that she managed to break free and rushed to the
neighbour for help. Although the police suspected
Caroline, there was no evidence. Later, the police
found the heartbeat and activity record in the
deceased’s smart bracelet. It was confirmed that the
time of the assault actually happened around 6:30
p.m. on the day of the incident, so they concluded
that Caroline lied.
